Great & easy to follow pattern

First, thank you for providing amazing cloaks and capelets! I can never do what what you do. Second, I thought I would try to use up my yarn stash and try my hand at your pattern. I am not great at crocheting and it had been years since I picked up a needle. However, your instructions were easy, not much counting or using stitch markers, etc. It was something even a novice like me could do. I'm working on my second one because my first was practice get all my bad techniques worked out. Let's just say it is going much better. Thank you for your great pattern.
